10-year Jail Term For Man In Mailsi Heroin Case
An Additional Sessions Court in Mailsi has sentenced a man to 10 years in prison and imposed a fine of Rs125,000 after finding him guilty in a heroin case.
Additional Sessions Judge Mailsi Muhammad Waris Javed announced the verdict in case No. 803/25 registered at Saddar Mailsi police station.
Convict Nadeem, son of Fayyaz, was found guilty of possessing 1,060 grams of heroin recovered by police.
Police stated that the conviction was secured following an effective investigation, prosecution, and presentation of evidence in the case. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Yaqoob conducted the investigation.
DPO Vehari Tassawar Iqbal said police were taking all possible measures to ensure the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in serious offences.
