10th Students Olympic Games Commences From Tomorrow
UrduPoint (September 10, 2026) – 10th Students Olympic Games will kick off tomorrow (Friday) in Karachi, under the aegis of the Pakistan Students Olympic Association. This was revealed by the Association’s President, Maqbool Arian, in a statement.
All preparations for the event are said to be complete, as per a meeting of the organizing committee held yesterday.
Competitions in 21 different sports will be held, including:
- Archery
- Athletics
- Badminton
- Basketball
- Cricket
- Catchball
- Futsal
- Fitness
- Gymnastics
- Handball
- Hockey
- Netball
- Padel
- Pickleball
- Rope Jump Skipping
- Tag War
- Skating
- Throwball
- Taekwondo
- Table Tennis
- Volleyball
These games will be played across six venues:
- KMC Sports Complex
- Mini Sports Complex Nazimabad
- Women Sports Complex
- Habib Public School
- Sindh Sports Board
- Alfa College Karachi
The closing ceremony, scheduled for September 29, will award trophies, medals, and certificates to the winning teams.
