1417 People Arrested For Violating Tenancy Act
Lahore Police have arrested 1,417 people this year for violating the Tenancy Act. According to a spokesperson, operations are ongoing in various areas of the city to enforce the act. 1057 cases have been registered for violations, with landlords being directed to register tenant details fully and legally before renting out properties.
The CCPO Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamiana, has emphasized the importance of timely tenant registration to monitor criminal activity effectively. He has also warned that action will be taken against those providing accommodation to criminals illegally.
