A 16-year-old boy was found dead in an alleged suicide incident near Eidgah Sharif on Asghar Mall Road, a Rescue 1122 spokesperson said on Tuesday.
According to the spokesperson, three emergency vehicles of Rescue 1122 reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and found the boy dead.
Police from the Banni Police Station also reached the scene and initiated an investigation. No apparent reason for the alleged suicide could initially be ascertained, police said.
The body was shifted to the hospital after completion of necessary legal formalities, while police continued their investigation from different angles.
