17 PO's Among 36 Criminals Arrested
SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - August 24, 2026) Police launched a massive crackdown against criminals across the district on Monday, arresting 36 suspects, including 17 proclaimed offenders (PO's).
According to a police spokesman, raiding teams conducted operations in various locations, leading to the arrest of the wanted criminals. During the raids, police seized one kilogram of hashish, crystal methamphetamine ("ice"), 100 liters of liquor, Kalashnikovs, pistols, and other weapons from the possession of the detainees.
The arrested criminals, including proclaimed offenders, were identified as Husnain, Sibtain, Khaleel, Rasheed, Rehman, Umar, Shafique, Siddique, Anwer, Kamran, Waleed, and others.
The spokesman assured that the crackdown would continue throughout the district to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
