176 Cases Registered Against Drug Pushers
BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th Aug, 2026) The district police lodged 176 FIRs against smugglers and drug peddlers during the current month.
According to a spokesman for police, during a crackdown launched against drug pushers, police also recovered narcotics, including:
- 28.9 kilograms of hashish
- 3.744 kilograms of crystal meth
- more than 10 kilograms of cannabis
- 4,572 litres of liquor
- 300 litres of liquor
- six operational distilleries.
