18,000 Saplings Distributed In Burewala To Mark Trilateral Defence Agreement

BUREWALA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – The joy over the trilateral defence cooperation agreement was marked in Burewala with an environment-friendly initiative as 18,000 saplings were distributed free of cost among citizens, educational institutions, and various government and social organisations.
The initiative was organised jointly by civil society and the tehsil administration. A ceremony was held at the gymnasium of Quaid-i-Azam Stadium, where Assistant Commissioner Javed Hussain Malik attended as the chief guest. Saplings were handed over to representatives of educational institutions and government and social organisations.
Speakers emphasised the importance of plantation in combating environmental pollution and climate change. They stressed that caring for planted trees is equally crucial for achieving positive results.
Javed Hussain appreciated the joint efforts of civil society and the tehsil administration. He noted that linking national celebrations with positive activities is commendable. Civil society representatives promised to continue the plantation campaign in the future to make Burewala greener and cleaner.
