26 Courts Inaugurated In New LHC Building

Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Alia Neelam on Saturday inaugurated 26 new courts established in a newly constructed 11-storey building.
In the initial phase, judges hearing criminal cases will be relocated to these courts, with judges of seniority number 16 and above transferred to the new facilities.
According to sources, four courts are located on each floor, from the ground floor to the fourth. The new LHC building encompasses eight upper floors and two underground levels in addition to the ground floor.
Judges of the Lahore High Court, including Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh, Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan, Justice Faisal Zaman Khan, Justice Muhammad Waheed Khan, Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf, and others, attended the inauguration ceremony. Other judges present were Justice Jawad Hassan, Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed, Justice Muhammad Amjad Pervez, Justice Asad Ali Bajwa, Justice Ghulam Sarwar, and Justice Syed Farhad Ali Shah.
