29 Policemen Punished For Rules Violations
SIALKOT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 22, 2026) : An orderly room meeting was held at the Sialkot Police Lines under the chairmanship of District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot, Captain (retd) Dost Muhammad, during which departmental proceedings were conducted against police officers and employees found guilty of violating departmental rules and regulations.
During the proceedings, 29 officers and employees were awarded various departmental punishments, including suspension from service, stoppage of increments, salary reductions and other penalties. Seven employees were issued warnings for minor negligence.
Meanwhile, the DPO presented appreciation certificates and cash prizes to police officers and employees in recognition of their outstanding performance and dedication to duty. He emphasized that the Police Department has an effective system of reward and accountability, promising to encourage professionals while holding accountable those who violate rules or bring disrepute.
