3,573 Drug Traffickers Arrested During Current Year
According to police, 3,573 drug traffickers have been arrested during the current year, including 86 women. A significant amount of drugs, valued at millions of rupees, was seized from the accused, leading to legal action against all of them.
A police spokesperson revealed that 3,562 cases were registered against drug peddlers. The seized drugs included:
- 1701 kg of hashish
- 87 kg of ice
- 480 kg of heroin
- 16 kg of opium
- 2896 kg of bhikhi
- 4038 liters of lehan
- 49,666 liters of liquor
Additionally, 85 kg of hashish, 25 kg of heroin, 11 kg of ice, and 450 liters of liquor were recovered from women drug pushers.
