45 Electric Buses Arrive in Multan, More on the Way

UrduPoint reports that 45 electric buses have arrived in Multan district, with more expected soon. This development follows a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Punjab, Iftikhar Ali Sahu, where Commissioner Multan Aamir Karim Khan provided an update.

Khan stated that five routes have been finalized for the electric bus service, set to begin operations in September. Preparations are underway, with 49 bus shelters under construction in Multan City, including 32 completed and 17 under construction. Additionally, 87 shelters have been completed in Multan Saddar.

Electric bus services are also operational in other districts of the division, with successful implementations in Khanewal (9 buses), Vehari (10 buses), and Lodhran (11 buses).
