5.1-magnitude Earthquake Strikes Northwest China

BEIJING, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 04th Sep, 2026) A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Haixi Prefecture in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Centre.
The epicentre was located at 37.84 degrees north latitude and 95.59 degrees east longitude. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres, the centre said.
