7 PTI Workers Sent to Adiala Jail for Identification Parade

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th Sep, 2026) An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Wednesday sent seven arrested PTI workers to Adiala Jail for an identification parade in a case registered over a protest on Constitution Avenue on February 15.

ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case, during which police produced the seven arrested workers before the court. The police sought a 14-day physical remand of the accused for conducting the identification parade. The court approved the request and directed that the accused be shifted to Adiala Jail for the purpose.

The court also directed authorities to provide all necessary medical facilities to two of the accused who were unwell.

These PTI workers were arrested in a case registered at Secretariat Police Station in connection with the protest by PTI lawmakers and workers on Constitution Avenue.
