Abductee Recovered, Two Arrested

MUZAFFARGARH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Sep, 2026) A youth was allegedly abducted by a group of armed motorcyclists in Khan Garh area of Muzaffargarh. However, police acted swiftly and rescued the abductee, while arresting two of the accused.
According to police sources, Taqeer Abbas, a resident of Mauza Alam Shah in the outskirts of Khan Garh, was travelling with his mother when around a dozen armed men on motorcycles intercepted them. The suspects allegedly assaulted Taqeer’s mother before abducting him and taking him away.
The abductors reportedly took the youth to a sugarcane field, where they subjected him to physical torture.
On information, Khan Garh Police Station SHO Ghulam Mujtaba Khan immediately constituted a police team under the supervision of Sub-Inspector Abdul Malik. The team conducted a raid and successfully recovered Taqeer Abbas. Two alleged kidnappers were also arrested during the operation.
A case has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway.
