AC Kharian Reviews Measures Against Overloading and Unsafe Transportation
GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Sep, 2026) Assistant Commissioner (AC) Kharian Ahmad Sher Gondal chaired a meeting on Saturday to review measures against overloading and unsafe transportation. He directed strict compliance with safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Attending the meeting were representatives from:
- Market Committee
- Forest and Agriculture departments
- Rice Mills Association
- Farmers
- Other relevant stakeholders
The participants reviewed arrangements for mandatory compaction of paddy husk and enforcement of a ban on its transportation on roads in uncovered vehicles.
The AC urged all stakeholders to:
- Ensure strict implementation of government directives.
- Adhere to traffic safety SOPs to prevent accidents.
- Cooperate fully with the administration.
