AC Shounter Reviews Development Projects, Public Grievances, Departmental Performance

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Tehsil Shounter Toosiq Ahmed chaired a meeting of officers and representatives from various government departments at his office in Shunter, where the progress of ongoing development projects, departmental performance, public grievances, and administrative matters were reviewed in detail.
The meeting was attended by SDPO Shunter Faqeer Muhammad, Tehsildar Shunter Abdul Qadeer, Assistant Director Tourism, Chief Officer District Council, and representatives from Fisheries, Agriculture, Public Works, Water & Power, LG&RD, Health, SCO, and other relevant departments.
During the meeting:
- Representatives of each department provided updates on their performance, ongoing projects, and services offered to the public.
- In-depth discussions took place regarding public issues related to various departments, including access to basic amenities, project timelines, and implementation challenges.
Participants proposed solutions for addressing public concerns, focusing on:
- Prompt resolution of public grievances
- Timely completion of development projects
- Transparency in government affairs
- Enhanced inter-departmental coordination
AC Shounter Toosiq Ahmed emphasized the importance of responsible and efficient service delivery, directing officers to prioritize public needs and ensure effective monitoring of project quality. He made it clear that negligence or inaction in providing services would not be tolerated.
He further instructed all departments:
- Maintain close coordination with one another.
- Address public matters as a top priority.
- Continuously monitor their respective areas and keep the administration informed.
