ACs Inspect Water-Affected Areas in Paharpur, Review Relief Efforts
Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 19, 2026) On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan, Assistant Commissioners Paharpur Shahab Ahmad Khan and Sajid Ali Khan, accompanied by officials of relevant departments, visited water-affected areas of Paharpur to review relief and rehabilitation activities.
During their visit to the affected areas due to CRBC canal breach, the assistant commissioners inspected ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures and directed the concerned officials to accelerate restoration work and ensure the provision of all possible facilities to the affected people. They also listened to the problems being faced by residents and issued necessary instructions to the relevant departments for their immediate resolution.
