Acting President Gilani Lauds Security Forces For Successful IBOs in Balochistan
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Sep, 2026) Acting President, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday paid tribute to the security forces for conducting successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against terrorists in Balochistan.
He stated that the killing of terrorists operating in the province with Indian patronage was a significant achievement of the security forces, as per a Presidency's news release issued here on Friday.
The acting president emphasized that terrorism has no religion, nationality, or race, adding that terrorists are enemies of humanity and peace. He praised the courage and professional skills of the security forces in their fight against terrorism.
Gilani noted that the entire nation stands united with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. He assured that any nefarious conspiracy aimed at undermining Pakistan's peace and stability would be foiled. Furthermore, he reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to eradicating terrorism completely.
