AGDA Welcomes New Cohort of Future Diplomats and Master's Students
AGDA (Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy) has welcomed a new group of students for the 2026-2027 academic year across four of its academic programs, continuing its mission to train future professionals in diplomacy and international affairs.
Programs and Intake:
- Post-Graduate Diploma in UAE Diplomacy and International Relations (PGD): 12th cohort
- Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Diplomatic Leadership (MAGAD): 10th cohort
- Master of Arts in Humanitarian Action and Development (MAHAD): 6th cohort
- Master of Arts in International Law, Human Rights, and Diplomacy (MILAD): 3rd cohort
Event Highlights:
An event in Abu Dhabi marked the official welcome, attended by:
- Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to the President of the UAE, Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, and AGDA's board member.
- Nickolay Mladenov, AGDA's Director-General.
- Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, AGDA's Deputy Director-General.
During the event, Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh:
- Emphasized the UAE's belief that national strength lies in contributions to stability and development.
- Highlighted the role of Emirati diplomacy in promoting peace and intercultural dialogue.
- Stressed the importance of investing in people for sustainable development.
Nickolay Mladenov noted the evolving demands on modern diplomats, stating that they must connect various global issues and exercise sound judgment to build trust.
Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri underscored the responsibility of AGDA's students in representing the UAE, emphasizing the importance of their decisions and the standards they set for themselves.
