AI Education Can Turn Punjab’s Youth Into Drivers of Digital Economy: Asim Munir

Engineer Asim Munir said that Punjab’s decision to bring Artificial Intelligence (AI) into government schools and modernize computer laboratories can give young generation of the province a decisive edge in the emerging digital economy.
He welcomed the decision to introduce AI as a subject in Punjab's government schools and upgrade computer labs, stating it would equip children from underprivileged families with vocational skills, turning them from recipients of charity into productive earners.
Munir also emphasized that these initiatives would accelerate digitalization and enable students to acquire knowledge and skills aligned with modern job market demands. He further appealed to philanthropists and the business community to support children enrolled in Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC) programs, helping them become economically self-reliant.
