AI Training Programme Begins at Gujrat University

Gujrat University (UoG) has commenced a four-day training programme titled AI Literacy for Faculty Members: Building AI-Ready Institutions under the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission (HEC).
The training, running from August 27 to September 1 from 9 am to 4 pm, targets full-time regular and newly inducted faculty members of public-sector universities. Its aim is to equip participants with practical skills to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into various aspects of academic life, including:
- Curriculum design
- Teaching and learning
- Assessment
- Research
- Academic administration
The sessions are conducted in smart classrooms at around 100 universities nationwide to enhance faculty capacity and foster the development of AI-ready higher education institutions.
On the first day, participants included:
