ANF Seizes 188.2 Kg Of Drugs In Six Nationwide Operations
Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has intensified its crackdown against drug trafficking, conducting six operations in different cities across the country and arresting 10 drug suppliers, including a woman. According to an ANF spokesperson, these operations resulted in the recovery of 188.2 kilograms of narcotics, valued at over Rs15.2 million.
Operations Details:
- Faisalabad: Recovery of 126kg hashish from a vehicle and rickshaw near Millat Road, leading to the arrest of two individuals.
- Sukkur: 30kg of hashish seized from a vehicle near a hospital, resulting in the arrest of two suspects.
- Karachi: 14.4kg of hashish recovered from a suspect near Sohrab Goth.
- Peshawar: 6kg of ice (crystal methamphetamine) found in a vehicle near Charsadda Road, with one accused arrested.
- Lahore: Two suspects arrested near Burki Road; 1kg of hashish, a Kalashnikov rifle with 10 rounds, and an MP5 submachine gun with five rounds recovered.
- Inter-provincial Operation: 10.8kg of hashish seized from a vehicle near Sangjani Toll Plaza, with two individuals arrested.
The ANF has registered cases against the suspects under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA), 1997, and investigations are ongoing.
