Saudi air defense forces have foiled another drone attack by Yemen's Houthis on the Kingdom. According to media reports, Saudi Civil Defense stated a Yemeni Houthi drone targeting the city of Taif was destroyed in the air, preventing any casualties.
However, falling debris from the downed drone killed one person and injured two in Taif, damaging buildings and vehicles.
Meanwhile, reports suggest:
- Yemeni armed forces targeted Houthi reinforcements on the Al-Barah-Al-Mokha road west of Taiz.
- They also thwarted an attempted Houthi infiltration on the Al-Mudharabah front in Lahj Governorate.
- Nearly 18,000 displaced families (comprising over 122,000 people) have registered in eight governorates due to recent tensions. The majority are from Taiz, particularly districts like Al-Mokha, Al-Wazi'iyah, Dhubab and Maqbana.
- Intense fighting continues between Yemeni armed forces and Houthi militia on the Al-Mansourah front bordering Lahj and Taiz governorates.
- Tribal fighters are supporting government forces in repelling Houthi attacks.
- Yemeni warplanes targeted Houthi headquarters, weapons, and equipment on the Al-Mokha and northern fronts.
