Apple Unveils Its First Touchscreen MacBook
Apple has finally introduced its first touchscreen MacBook after two decades of ignoring the trend. The new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models feature a PROLED XDR Display and come in lighter weights, at 3 and 4 pounds respectively. Apple claims a battery life of up to 24 hours.
The iconic illuminated Apple logo has made a comeback on the laptop's cover. Apple CEO John Ternus announced the device, emphasizing the introduction of touch to the Mac for the very first time.
"The new MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display is a monumental step forward for the Mac," said Johny Srouji, Apple's chief hardware officer.
