Application Invited For Provision Of 10,000 Tractors

LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) Farmers are being invited to apply for the provision of 10,000 tractors, each with a horsepower range of 50-65, under the Punjab Chief Minister’s Green Tractor Programme, which offers a subsidy of Rs 750,000 per tractor.
A spokesperson for the Punjab Agriculture Department stated that farmers from computerised ‘Mauzas’ (villages) can apply through the dedicated programme portal, gts.punjab.gov.pk, or by visiting the official website, www.agripunjab.gov.pk. Farmers from non-computerised ‘Mauzas’ can download the application form from the Punjab Agriculture Department’s website or collect it free of cost from the offices of the Agriculture Extension Department.
The last date for submitting applications is August 31, 2026. For further details and guidance, farmers can contact the relevant offices of the Agriculture (Extension) Department Punjab or call the Agriculture Helpline at 0800-17000, available daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
