Aror University Holds Guest Lecture on Conductive Cultural Map

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2026) - The Faculty of Design at Aror University Sukkur on Wednesday organized a guest lecture on "Conductive Cultural Map".
The event featured presentations by three final year students from the Fashion Design department who showcased their vision for a conductive cultural map that seamlessly integrates Pakistan's rich cultural heritage with modern technology. They wove together threads symbolizing diverse regions of the country—Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh—with digital and smart textiles, highlighting how traditional craftsmanship can be reimagined through wearable technology.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zahid Hussain Khand, serving as the chief guest, praised the students' creative efforts. He offered insightful commentary on the fusion of culture and technology, encouraging students to pursue their innovative ideas with dedication, commitment, and creativity.
Later, the Vice Chancellor presented certificates of appreciation to the students for their work. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Design, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and a large number of students.
