Arsenal 2-1 Leeds: A Decisive Moment of Real Quality - But Mikel Arteta Still Has Issues to Address
BBC Sport reports on an intense match between Arsenal and Leeds United, ending in a crucial 2-1 victory for the Gunners.
Bruno Guimaraes, Arsenal's £75m summer signing, played a pivotal role, scoring the winning goal against Leeds, just as he did in their previous win at Sunderland. This marks Guimaraes' second Premier League goal of the season.
Despite the victory, Mikel Arteta acknowledges that Arsenal still has areas to address:
"For large parts of the game against Leeds, they were nowhere near their best... To play this way and get a result is what champions do."
The text highlights the contrast between Arsenal's performance and their ability to secure wins, even when below par. Guimaraes' signings have been instrumental in these victories, but Arteta emphasizes the need for consistent high-level performances from all players.
