Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies Reshaping the Global Economy: Sindh Governor’s Message
KARACHI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd Aug, 2026) The Governor of Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, attended the closing ceremony of Aptech Vision 2026 as the Chief Guest on Saturday.
In his address, the Governor commended Aptech Learning Pakistan for fostering education, modern skills, and technology among the country’s youth. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s vision for 2047, emphasizing collaboration with young people to build a prosperous nation.
Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi noted that initiatives like the PM Youth Programme aim to offer global employment opportunities to skilled Pakistani youth while the PM Youth Hub facilitates education, skills development, and other areas.
He described Aptech Vision 2026 as a positive step, bringing youth, technology, education, and industry together. Emphasizing the rapid evolution of the world, he stated that artificial intelligence and digital technologies are significantly impacting the global economy.
According to him, traditional degrees are no longer enough; modern skills, practical training, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities are crucial for today’s era. He recognized Pakistan’s youthful population as a valuable national asset.
