Asim Iftikhar Appointed Pakistan’s New Foreign Secretary

Asim Iftikhar, currently serving as Pakistan's permanent representative to the United Nations, has been appointed as the country's new Foreign Secretary. The appointment was approved by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He will soon take on his responsibilities following Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch's term set to end in the third week of this month.
