Athletics Training Camp Underway For Asian Games 2026
The Pakistan athletics team, comprising athletes from Pak Army, Navy, and Wapda, is currently training at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad for the upcoming 20th Asian Games.
Brig. Wajahat Hussain, President of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP), visited the camp and discussed training progress with athletes and coaches, according to a press release. Currently, four male and two female athletes are training at the stadium.
The AFP president also announced a special nutrition allowance equivalent to four extra daily allowances per day for each participant during the duration of the camp. The training session will conclude on September 15, after which the team will depart for Japan to participate in the Asian Games.
