Authorities Vow to Work In Tandem to Stop Preventable Deaths

The district administration in Hyderabad and the District Health Office (DHO) have adopted the theme 'Together We Are Stronger' to combat preventable deaths in the city, immediately. According to an official spokesman, this theme symbolizes a collective commitment to unity, collaboration, and shared responsibility in safeguarding public health.

He emphasized that their mission is clear and unwavering: to prevent any death due to preventable diseases. An integrated strategy will bring together the strengths of multiple departments and stakeholders, including community representatives, media, local government, Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC), Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB), Child Protection Units, civil society, and officials from Livestock and Fisheries.

Fortnightly follow-up meetings and monthly district reviews will be conducted to ensure accountability, monitor progress, and address operational gaps.
