Awareness Session Held on Women’s Rights

Baidarie (a non-governmental organization) organized a training and awareness session on Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) to promote awareness about women’s rights and measures to prevent gender-based violence.
The session focused on key issues including:
- Women’s protection laws in Punjab
- Referral mechanisms
- Access to justice
- Survivor support
- Collective efforts to prevent violence and discrimination against women and girls.
The initiative aimed to strengthen awareness and understanding among participants about available protection and support mechanisms while encouraging collective action for safer communities and a violence-free society.
The session was organized under the project “Catalysing Growth for Women Economic Empowerment in District Sialkot, Pakistan” with support from UN Women Pakistan.
