Azma Bokhari Questions KP CM’s Charter Plane Travel
Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari on Friday questioned the use of a charter plane by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that the provincial government should disclose the cost and details of the journey.
She stated:
"The KP chief minister was running a 'street movement' while traveling on a charter plane, and I question where those YouTubers who previously criticized Punjab's chief minister over aircraft use have gone."
Azma Bokhari asked about the expense of the charter flight for the people of KP, noting their province's financial difficulties, including salary issues and wheat purchasing problems. She questioned if the "middle-class Chief Minister" would personally cover the charter plane costs.
She further added:
"YouTubers are also accompanying the KP Chief Minister on this charter plane. Those who criticized Punjab’s aircraft are now witnessing their own Chief Minister traveling via a chartered flight."
The minister requested the KP government to make public the passenger list, payment details, and flight tracking data for the charter plane. She noted inconsistencies in flight information, suggesting that the actual flight was from Islamabad to Rahim Yar Khan, indicating a charter service.
Azma Bokhari concluded:
"No more verbal claims—'Raseedan Kaddo Raseedan'. We need documentary evidence and complete transparency regarding this charter flight."
