Salman Akram Raja, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s secretary general, expressed his concerns over the party being asked to withdraw their demand for Imran Khan's personal physicians. He emphasized the lack of flexibility regarding his treatment as incomprehensible.

Speaking on a private TV program, Raja highlighted the restrictions placed on lawyers and family members meeting Imran Khan, stating that they were initially denied access but later informed that meetings would be permitted on Tuesday.

He refuted claims about Sohail Afridi, assuring that their committee had full authority and emphasizing that a false narrative had been crafted regarding the opposition's lack of control.

Raja clarified PTI's stance, stating:

"Our position was absolutely clear."

He proposed a consensus action plan against terrorism, inviting dialogue with genuine intentions. Regarding the Police Act, he suggested considering Punjab's law as an alternative and highlighted Mohsin Naqvi's seven points against terrorism. Action was proposed, including the imposition of emergency in five districts, but the consensus plan was not accepted.

Raja provided updates on Imran Khan's health, mentioning fluctuations in blood pressure that later stabilized after a specialist doctor from London conducted an examination. He warned that any further deterioration would force those responsible to flee.
