The office timings of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) have been extended by one hour to accommodate a larger number of visitors, especially students from distant districts in Southern Punjab. According to a notification issued under the direction of Chairman Dr Ajaz Ahmed, the new office hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., instead of the previous closing time of 3:00 p.m.

This change aims to assist students, parents, and guardians, many of whom face challenges reaching the BISE office within the old timings, especially those traveling from other districts. All staff members, including clerical staff and officers, have been instructed to remain available during the extended hours, prioritizing the resolution of students’ cases.

On Fridays, staff will be available until 1:00 p.m., instead of the previous closing time of 12:00 noon. These revised timings will be implemented across all departments of the board, ensuring maximum convenience for students and visitors.
