FAISALABAD (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) - Khurarianwala police claimed to have solved a blind murder case using technical resources and arrested the accused for killing his friend over a monetary dispute.
A police spokesman stated that Imdad Hussain left home in a rickshaw but didn't return. His family initiated a search, leading to the discovery of his body on Lakhuana Link Road. The victim had suffered violence before his death.
Khurarianwala police launched an investigation, utilizing technical means to trace the accused, Zahid Hussain. SHO Muhammad Atif Shehzad arrested him for his alleged involvement.
During preliminary questioning, the accused admitted to taking Imdad Hussain to his Dera in Lakhuana where a dispute arose over a financial transaction. He attacked Imdad with a stick during the argument, seriously injuring him, and later strangled him to death. To conceal the crime, he dumped the body on Lakhuana Link Road.
The accused was booked while further investigations continued.
