Body Recovered From Canal
SARGODHA, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 22, 2026) The body of a man was recovered from a canal near Chak Musa Bridge in Jhawarian, Shahpur tehsil.
Deceased Identified
The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Abrar (28), resident of Chak Musa, Hayat Colony, Jhawarian, Shahpur tehsil, Sargodha district.
Search Operation
According to Rescue 1122 sources, the District Control Room received information that a man had fallen into the canal near Chak Musa Bridge and gone missing. On the directions of District Emergency Officer (DEO), Mazhar Shah, rescue and water rescue teams were dispatched to the site. After conducting a search operation, the water rescue team recovered Abrar’s body from the canal.
Shifted to Rural Health Centre
The body was shifted to the Rural Health Centre (RHC) Jhawarian after completing necessary procedures. Further legal and relevant proceedings are underway.
