Boy Drowns in Drain
MUZAFFARGARH, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) A boy, Shafiq (8), drowned while playing near Ganesh Wah nallah (drain) and was later found dead after a rescue operation, here on Wednesday.
According to Rescue officials, the boy fell into the nallah and went missing. Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the site and launched a water search operation. After 20 minutes, rescuers located the boy approximately 10 feet from the point where he had drowned. He was pulled out of the water and given CPR at the scene before being shifted to BHU Bhatta Pur. The doctor confirmed the child’s death. Rescue 1122 handed over the body to his family.
