BZU Officer Arrested For Accepting Bribe
Multan, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Aug, 2026) The anti-corruption department arrested an officer of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) for allegedly accepting a bribe. Malik Shaukat Hayat, a grade-16 officer, was taken into custody while reportedly receiving Rs 50,000 from an individual.
According to officials, the anti-corruption team conducted a raid following the verification of a complaint. The suspect was allegedly caught red-handed during the transaction.
