CCoSOEs Clears Board Appointments for PPL, OGDCL
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 20, 2026) The Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises (CCoSOEs) on Thursday approved the appointment of an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and endorsed three nominations for Independent Director positions on the Board of Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
The meeting, chaired by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb at the Finance Division, considered and approved a summary from the Petroleum Division regarding the nomination for an Independent Director at PPL, in line with the State-Owned Enterprise Policy, 2023.
It also reviewed a summary concerning the constitution of the OGDCL Board of Directors and approved the proposed nominations for three Independent Director positions.
