CDA Continues Tree Plantation Drive Across Islamabad
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Environment Wing is continuing its tree plantation and landscaping drive across Islamabad, aiming to make the federal capital greener, healthier, and more beautiful.
Comprehensive Efforts:
According to CDA, comprehensive plantation activities are underway along major roads, green belts, parks, road medians, intersections, and other public spaces. A variety of trees, flowering plants, ornamental plants, and shrubs are being planted at various locations, with a focus on enhancing existing green areas and landscaping vacant spaces.

The Environment Wing is dedicated to replacing dead or damaged trees and plants, ensuring regular watering, maintenance, and aftercare for newly planted saplings to promote their growth. They are selecting suitable plant species adapted to Islamabad’s environmental conditions.
