Cement Export Increases 9.58% in July 2026

The export of cement from the country witnessed a significant boost of 9.58% during the first month of the current financial year (2026-27) compared to the same period last year. The country exported cement worth $38.212 million in July 2026, up from $34.870 million in July 2025, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
In terms of quantity, the cement exports also showed a substantial increase of 11.96%, rising from 640,198 metric tons to 985,180 metric tons.
On a month-on-month basis, cement exports surged by 42.87% in July 2026 compared to June 2026, revealing a strong performance in the industry.
It's worth noting that overall exports from Pakistan increased by 9.54% during the reviewed month, with exports reaching $2.939 billion in July 2026, up from $2.683 billion in July 2025.
Meanwhile, imports into the country also experienced growth, increasing by 17.99% to $6.887 billion in July 2026 from $5.837 billion the previous year.
