CEO DHA Inspects Public Health Services in Flood-Hit Larai

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Aug, 2026) : Chief Executive Officer (CEO), District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr. Syed Muhammad Aitizaz Ahmad, on Tuesday inspected public health outreach services in the flood-hit urban village of Larai on the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi.
According to an official source, Dr. Aitizaz Ahmad, accompanied by Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO) Gujrat, Dr. Muhammad Usman Naeem, reviewed medical and public health services being provided to residents of the affected area. The CEO also inspected teams of the Chief Minister Clinic on Wheels and assessed healthcare facilities being offered to the flood-affected population.
He directed the DDHO to ensure regular deployment of Chief Minister Clinic on Wheels teams in affected areas on a rotational basis to deliver timely and quality healthcare services directly to residents.
Dr. Aitizaz Ahmad further emphasized the need for guaranteeing safe drinking water and implementing preventative measures to safeguard residents from waterborne diseases in flood-stricken regions.
