CEO Health Reviews Facilities in Gujrat
GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Sep, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr Syed Aitizaz Ahmed, visited Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Kharian and Maryam Nawaz Clinics at Panjan Kisana and Bahrowal to review healthcare services and administrative arrangements.
According to an official source, the CEO inspected various departments of THQ Hospital Kharian, where Medical Superintendent Dr. Zafar Mehdi briefed him on administrative and operational matters. He reviewed the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), emergency care, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), dental services, indoor services, online records, neonatal nursery, and biomedical equipment.
The CEO also scrutinized the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and directed vaccinators to ensure timely online data entry for vaccinations along with QR codes. He interacted with admitted patients, reviewed their treatment charts, and instructed staff to enhance patient care.
Subsequently, he visited both clinics, examining services related to maternal and child health, growth monitoring, and routine immunization.
