District Health Authority Gujrat's CEO, Dr. Syed Muhammad Aitizaz Ahmed, visited the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Sarai Alamgir on September 19, 2026 to assess healthcare services and administrative arrangements.
According to an official source, Dr. Ahmed, accompanied by Deputy District Health Officer Dr. Waheed Kamran, inspected:
- Emergency department
- Laboratory
- Medicine store
- Vertical programs
- Inpatient department (IPD)
- Routine immunization services
He also reviewed the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), focusing on patient records, diagnoses, treatment details, data quality, and real-time data entry. He directed hospital staff to promptly address HMIS data-entry issues and ensure effective system utilization.
Dr. Ahmed visited hospital wards and interacted with patients about their treatments and facilities. He reviewed patient treatment charts and instructed consultants to ensure timely entries, signatures, and official stamps.
Emphasizing quality healthcare, Dr. Ahmed declared that negligence in patient care and service delivery would not be tolerated.
