Chairman Senate Urges Adherence To Seerah And Teachings Of Holy Prophet (PBUH)
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Aug, 2026) Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday extended his heartfelt felicitations to the entire Muslim Ummah on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), saying that this sacred occasion provides us with an opportunity to renew our commitment to shape our individual and collective lives in accordance with the noble Seerah and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
In his message, the Chairman Senate said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught humanity the values of patience and tolerance, justice and fairness, humility, compassion, love, brotherhood, harmony, and peace. He stated that embracing these timeless principles is crucial to overcome the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah today.
He emphasized the need to:
- Promote unity and solidarity on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
- Eliminate hatred and foster peace, love, and brotherhood in society.
- Build collective systems on the principles of justice, equality, and fraternity.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani called for special attention to be given to the poor, orphans, and destitute, stressing that their support is a shared responsibility. He highlighted the importance of acquainting the younger generation with the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to instill virtues like high moral character, honesty, tolerance, and self-sacrifice.
The Chairman Senate concluded by praying for Allah’s blessings upon the Muslim Ummah and humanity, for an end to conflicts, and for peace, progress, and brotherhood worldwide.
