China Extends ‘Steadfast Support’ For Pakistan’s Counter-terrorism Efforts
China will continue its steadfast support for Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts and called upon all countries to join forces in tackling the threat of terrorism, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated at a regular press conference.
"Terrorism is a common enemy of humanity. Fighting terrorism is in the shared interests of all countries," Guo said, in response to a question on a terrorist attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on September 18.
The spokesperson condemned the terrorist attack and expressed condolences to the families of the victims: "We mourn the loss of lives and extend sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families."
Reaffirming its support for Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts, he urged global collaboration in safeguarding security and stability.
