CJP IHC Inaugurates Media Centre
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 30, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC)'s Chief Justice, Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, along with other judges, inaugurated a Media Centre at the high court on Wednesday.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan and Justice Raja Inaam Ameen Minhas also attended the inauguration ceremony. Addressing the event, Chief Justice Dogar congratulated the media fraternity, stating: "I congratulate our friends in the media." He added, "We are inaugurating the High Court Media Centre today for a free media. Whether you criticize or praise us, you are free."
The Prosecutor General, Manzoor Ahmed Jajja, and Additional Attorney General Rashid were present at the ceremony. Registrar Yar Muhammad Wlana, Additional Registrar Noor Muhammad Mirza, and Deputy Registrar also attended.
High Court Bar President Wajid Gilani and General Secretary Barrister Qasim Nawaz Abbasi were among the attendees, along with law officers and court reporters from the Islamabad High Court Journalists Association.
