Claim of Two Reductions in Bill for Maryam Nawaz’s Private Use of Official Aircraft

The billed amount was reduced from Rs 29,365,976 to Rs 27,194,004, but there has still been no report of the payment being deposited, as reported by journalist Syed Imran Shafqat.
LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Sep, 2026) Journalist and analyst Syed Imran Shafqat has made an important revelation regarding the private use of Punjab’s official aircraft. He states that the first official bill for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s use of the aircraft was issued on September 14.
The bill totaled Rs 29,365,976.
However, the amount was revised twice on the same day after the bill was issued, and amended letters were formally sent to Maryam Nawaz.
On social media platform X, Syed Imran Shafqat shared that the second bill issued after the first showed a reduced amount of Rs 28,037,844. Subsequently, a third bill was issued with a final cost of Rs 27,194,004 for the private use of the official aircraft.
He clarified that despite these changes, no confirmation or information has been received regarding the payment of the amount into the government treasury.
