Cleanliness Drive Continues Across Abbottabad For 19th Consecutive Day - UrduPoint
Local Government Department, TMA Abbottabad and WASA are removing solid waste, cleaning roads and clearing drains in Mirpur, College Road Mandian and along the Karakoram Highway.
ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Nov, 2026) The Clean and Green Abbottabad campaign continued for the 19th consecutive day, with the Local Government Department, TMA Abbottabad and WASA carrying out cleanliness activities in different parts of the city.
The ongoing drive includes:
- Cleaning roads
- Removing accumulated garbage
- Clearing drains in Mirpur, along the main Karakoram Highway, College Road Mandian and other city areas.
The teams are removing large quantities of solid waste from College Road Mandian, while cleaning operations are also underway along the Karakoram Highway and in the surrounding areas to improve sanitation and maintain a clean environment.
The campaign aims to:
